Homeschool Power Hours

At The Nestling Collective, we’re excited to offer Homeschool Power Hours, a specially curated program designed to provide enriching educational experiences for homeschool kids aged 6-12. Our program is not only engaging and educational but also aligned with the requirements to be a provider for Step Up Florida.

With meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence, we create spaces that inspire, elevate, and enrich the lives of those who inhabit them.

Program Schedule: Homeschool Power Hours at The Nestling Collective are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. During these hours, homeschool kids aged 6-12 have access to our facility and engage in a variety of enrichment activities.

Guided Lessons: For a more structured learning experience, guided lessons are conducted on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. These sessions provide focused instruction and hands-on activities related to the weekly theme.

Weather Exploration

Learn about the water cycle and its relation to various weather phenomena such as thunderstorms, tornadoes, hurricanes, and snowstorms.
Engage in exciting projects like creating your own water cycle, crafting rain gauges, simulating clouds in a bottle, building anemometers to learn about hurricanes, and more!

Outer Space Adventure

Calling all junior astronauts! Embark on a journey to explore our solar system, planets, the sun, moon, constellations, and galaxies with inspiration from NASA.
Participate in projects like making solar ovens, observing oreo moon phases, creating flashlight and marshmallow constellations, building cardboard rocket ships, and crafting replicas of the solar system.

Junior Engineering Exploration

Get ready to think like an engineer as we solve problems and engage in hands-on design challenges.
Dive into exciting projects like marble coasters, balloon rockets, pipeline construction, paper bridges, hovercrafts, rubber band cars, catapults, and marshmallow igloos!

We value transparency and want to make sure you know how this program is eligible for FES-UA and FTC-PEP Funds?

We must be selected by the parent as part of their home education students parent-directed instruction.

What if I have multiple kids in different age ranges?

We love to offer a space of inclusivity for ages 0-12 so while your 6-12 year old kiddo engages in homeschool power hour activities your little one is still welcome to enjoy the rest of the play space!

Do you offer a discount for multiple students?

We do offer a discounted rate of $129 per child

Can I drop my child off?

At The Nestling Collective, we prioritize the safety and well-being of all children participating in our classes and activities. As such, it is mandatory for parents or caregivers to be present and actively supervise their children at all times.
